Dalit Burning Issue

A court in New Delhi today issued notice to Delhi Police on a revision petition challenging an order dismissing a criminal complaint seeking registration of FIR against Union Minister VK Singh for his alleged "dog" remarks in the aftermath of burning of two Dalit children in Haryana.

Taking suo motu cognisance of Union Minister General (retd) VK Singh's controversial comments over the Dalit burning issue, the National Commission for Scheduled Castes has issued a notice to DGP of Uttar Pradesh and SSP of Ghaziabad.
