Six people including bookies and financiers have been arrested in Chennai on suspicions of spot-fixing in the IPL season. Sources say, at least fourteen lakhs cash has been recovered from them.

A special court in Chennai hearing the heroin possession case against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa's disowned foster son Mr V N Sudhakaran has deferred its orders for tomorrow. Mr Sudhakaran was arrested in 2001 for illegally possessing 88 grams of heroin at his home and office in Chennai. He is currently out on bail.
