Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has sought a report from the Indian Navy chief on the leak of thousands of pages of secret data on the combat capability of the Scorpene-class submarines being built in India in a 3.5-billion-dollar project.

Giving mythological lessons to defence scientists, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today said the ancient sages of the country were "probably great scientists." He also asked the scientists of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to learn from 'rishis', the art of being humble and overcoming jealousy and anger.

A six-day exhibition, "Shauryanjali" showcasing major battle scenes and captured tanks of the Pakistani Army during the 1965 war, started at central Delhi's Rajpath today, as a part of golden jubilee celebrations of the war.
