Delhi Judge Molested

Aam Aadmi Party legislator Prakash Jarwal was convicted of intimidating a woman in a case, and was acquitted in another case of molestation by a Delhi court on Monday. Additional Sessions Judge Samar Vishal convicted Jarwal in a 2017 case for intimidating a woman.

A Delhi court on Tuesday rejected defence's argument about discrepancies in the statement of a molestation victim and sentenced the four accused men to a year in prison. While doing so, the judge sternly said that the victim cannot be expected to state facts in a "parrot-like manner".

A driver, working for Ola cabs, has been arrested for allegedly harassing and misbehaving with a woman judge in a city court who had hired his car to go shopping in north Delhi, police said today.
