A 17-year-old drowned in a swimming pool here, police said on Monday, adding that the owner of the swimming pool has been arrested. Raja, resident of west Delhi's Janta Enclave area, drowned in the pool around 2.30 pm on Sunday. The 12th class student, who did not know how to swim, used to go to the unauthorised pool to learn swimming.

M Ranjan of Padma Seshadri Bal Bhavan and the son of Tamil movie director Manoharan went swimming with 25 classmates after morning prayers. At the end of the swimming session, the boy was missing.
