A 19-year-old pizza delivery boy who had tested positive for coronavirus last month in Delhi, prompting authorities to put 72 families in home-quarantine, has been discharged from the hospital, officials said Tuesday.

With a food delivery boy in Delhi testing positive for the novel coronavirus, Congress on Friday demanded that a standard operating procedure for delivery boys should be prepared and notified and it should also apply to others exempted from lockdown.

A 19-year-old food delivery agent has tested positive for coronavirus in Delhi, causing a huge scare for over 70 families that have been asked to quarantine. The teen had delivered food for a restaurant in Malviya Nagar in south Delhi till last Sunday, until he fell ill. He has been admitted to the government-run RML hospital.

There were massive disruptions on day 1 of the 21-day lockdown as local authorities including police did not allow delivery boys to move around.
