An international team of researchers, led by scientists from Stockholm University's Department of Astronomy, has discovered a higher number of black holes in the early universe than was previously recorded. Using the NASA Hubble Space Telescope, this team found black holes among faint galaxies formed shortly after the Big Bang event.

The government has allotted nearly 130 billion rupees ($1.55 billion) to India's space department this year. Asked how much he expected funding to increase,ISRO chief Somanath said "something like an additional 20-30%", though "over a long period of time".

The fourth long-duration astronaut team launched by SpaceX to the International Space Station (ISS) for NASA departed the orbiting outpost on Friday to begin their flight back to Earth, capping a science mission of nearly six months.

The Chinese booster rocket Long March 5B made an uncontrolled return to Earth on Saturday, US Defense Department officials said, as they chided Beijing for not sharing information on the potentially hazardous object's descent.
