Aviation regulator DGCA has suspended the licence of a helicopter pilot for six months following an incident while landing on an offshore platform in the Mumbai high seas.

Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) suspended licenses of two Alliance Air pilots for one year after the plane they were operating overshot the runway in Jabalpur on March 12. DGCA said the "action or inaction" of pilots caused a safety issue.
