DigiYatra Facility Rolls Out at Kolkata Airport for Check-Ins Through Facial Recognition

DigiYatra was rolled out on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport on Friday, making it the fourth one in the country after airports in Delhi, Bengaluru and Varanasi. The trials of the technology started at the Kolkata airport on February 21, and till Thursday, 9,206 passengers utilised the facility.

DigiYatra Facility to Be Available for All Passengers at IGI Airport Terminal 2, 3 by March End

Delhi airport operator DIAL on Wednesday said facial recognition technology-based DigiYatra facility will be available for passengers at all entry and boarding gates of Terminal 2 and 3 by the end of March. The DigiYatra facility at entry gates of Terminal 1 of the airport is likely to be operational from April.

Hyderabad International Airport to Roll Out DigiYatra Platform for Paperless Travel From August 18

GMR Hyderabad International Airport (GHIAL) will roll out the DigiYatra platform for three months from August 18 onwards passengers as a proof of concept through the DigiYatra platform, the airport announced on Tuesday. With DigiYatra, passengers will be automatically processed based on a facial recognition system at select checkpoints.
