Dispropotionate Assets Case

The Delhi High Court today refused to stay the trial court order to frame charges against former Himachal Pradesh chief minister Virbhadra Singh for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets of over Rs 10 crore.

The AIADMK is unlikely to celebrate its 43rd birthday tomorrow unless its chief J Jayalalithaa gets bail. The CBI on Thursday arrested Andhra Pradesh Excise Minister Mopidevi Venkataramna in connection with a corruption case related to YSR Congress Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy.Mr Venkataramna was arrested soon after he appeared before them for questioning for a second consecutive day.
