Double Toll Tax

The Delhi High Court sought on Friday the response of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Centre to a plea challenging the rule making it compulsory for vehicles without FASTag to pay double the toll tax.

अब तक डबल टोल केवल तब लागू होता था जब कोई वाहन टैग के बिना FASTag लेन में प्रवेश करता था.

Twice the toll amount will be charged from December 1 for passing through FASTag lanes without the tags at toll plazas on national highways, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said on Thursday.
