Doyens Of Madras

While Chennai celebrates Madras Week as part of its 375th birthday, the city has also honoured seven eminent personalities with the Doyens of Madras 2014 Awards.

Dada Saheb Phalke Award winner and doyen of Telugu cinema, legendary actor and producer Akkineni Nageswara Rao (fondly called ANR), died in the early hours in Hyderabad today. He was 89.
