Delhi University To Move Supreme Court Against Order Granting Relief To Teachers

Delhi University (DU) has decided to move the Supreme Court (SC) against a Delhi High Court order that directed the varsity to grant monthly pension to over 300 teachers. The decision was taken at the executive council meeting of the university yesterday.

n administrative botch-up has deprived hundreds of Delhi University (DU) retirees of their pension since 2014, with the varsity telling a court here that it cannot abide by an August 2016 order to pay as it doesn't have the money to do so. The case will now be taken up on April 17.

Canadian Fund Caisse Buys $155-Million Stake In TVS Logistics Services
