CII demands dual pricing of diesel, wants LPG subsidy removed

The industry chamber said non-farm use of diesel should have minimum subsidy, and also pressed for the phasing out of subsidy on LPG for urban use. The chamber said the increase in price of petrol is steep and would not resolve the issue of ballooning fuel subsidy. However, the subsidy on kerosene should be retained, it said.
