A 23-year-old man has been sentenced to 100 years in prison for sexually assaulting and robbing an octogenarian widow at gunpoint in the US state of Illinois. Tevin Rainey, who hails from Bolingbrook village in the southwest suburb of Chicago, was sentenced last week by DuPage County Judge Brian Telander.

Terming the incident as a "road rage" case, US authorities have not brought hate crime charges against a teenager who brutally attacked a 53-year-old Sikh-American man, sparking outrage among community members.
