Counselling Session For KCR, Naidu From Their States' Governor

Governor E S L Narasimhan has set up a date for Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu. The two chief ministers will meet at Raj Bhavan in Hyderabad this afternoon to try and thrash out differences between the two states.

Centre's approval not required in court-monitored probe against civil servants: Supreme Court to CBI

The Supreme Court today held that no approval from the Centre is required by CBI to prosecute senior bureaucrats in court-monitored corruption cases, strengthening the arms of the agency to go ahead against the officials without taking prior sanction from government.
