A new Ebola test which is not only easier to use but also 100 times more sensitive than a test currently in use could help curb the spread of the disease in western Africa, claims a study.

China will send more medics to Ebola-hit Sierra Leone to help boost laboratory testing for the virus, raising the total number of Chinese medical experts there to 174, the UN said on Tuesday.
