Gunmen burst into a home and killed eight shark fishermen from the same family in Mexico's Pacific beach resort of Puerto Escondido, authorities said on Tuesday.

Authorities say a small plane carrying four people has made an emergency landing on a southern California freeway. The California Highway Patrol says there were no injuries as the Cessna set down at 11:35 pm on Sunday on Interstate 15 in Escondido.
