Firing between security forces and armed men has been reported from Pallel area of Manipur's Tengnoupal district since early hours of Friday, officials said.

Heavy exchange of fire took place between the security forces and the armed miscreants in different places of Imphal East and Kangpokpi districts on Friday, the army said.
