WhatsApp e-Challan scams are reportedly being carried out in India using a new type of technical malware dubbed Maorris bot. This is a new type of scam and the report claims there is a large organised effort behind it. So far, the malware is said to be affecting only Android devices, and no impact has been seen on the iPhone or other Apple devices.
