Delhi Government Launches E-District Project to Offer Services Online

Residents in the national capital will now be able to access a host of Delhi government services online and get documents verified for the issuance of nearly a dozen certificates under an ambitious 'e-District project' that was launched today by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Andhra Pradesh Govt to introduce multipurpose smart cards

Smart cards issued to the beneficiaries would be inter-operable across all POS machines (different makes and models) and the card could be used for multi-purposes across all departments for various services in the state, the minister said. The smart card features would be extended to support banking transactions also.
