Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Friday chaired a high-level meeting to assess the progress of Delhi's Health Information Management System (HIMS) and instructed departments to distribute e-health cards to Delhiites by next year, officials said.

Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda on Friday launched a number of e-health initiatives, including 'Kilkari' that will provide information on child care through mobile phone.

He added that the amount will be spent to build further and deeper infrastructure like taking 4G connectivity to the masses, e-health and taking e-education to every village.

The government is expecting investments to the tune of billions of dollars during the Digital India week which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 1.

Facilitating easy medical access to patients from abroad, healthcare major Prime India launched the International Wellness Card.
