Japan has officially launched its e-Visa program for several countries, including India. This single-entry visa grants a validity of up to 90 days.

India has resumed electronic visa services for Canadian nationals after a nearly two-month pause, sources told NDTV on Wednesday, as the two countries are engaged in a diplomatic row over the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Nijjar.

The Home Ministry on Friday extended the regular and e-visas of all foreigners who are stranded in India due to the coronavirus lockdown till May 3 on gratis basis.

The Centre has decided to extend till April 15 the regular visa and e-visa of those foreigners who are currently in India and unable to leave the country due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

India has temporarily suspended all the visas and e-visas granted on or before March 11 to nationals of three more coronavirus-affected countries -- France, Germany and Spain -- effective immediately, as part of the measure to contain the spread of the deadly virus.
