Delhi Police has nabbed two people, one of them a juvenile, who allegedly defrauded an army officer by stealing his mobile phone and Rs 50,000, an officer on Thursday said.

The accused said that they brought fake notes from the Dubagga area of Lucknow.

Border Security Force (BSF) has arrested a Bangladeshi couple from the Land Customs Station (LCS) in Gede in the Nadia in West Bengal after finding at least (78) Rs 2,000 currency notes in their luggage.

The police in Assam have seized fake currency notes worth Rs 1,85,000 and also arrested one person in this connection, an official said on Thursday.
