Faking Kidnap Of Sons

A 36-year-old man was arrested for allegedly faking the abduction of his two minor sons in a bid to extort money from his father to repay loans, City police said on Friday.

A first-year student of Delhi University's Dyal Singh College allegedly tried to stage his own kidnapping after he came to know that due to his short attendance, he will not be able to appear for the exams. His parents even lodged a missing complaint, only to be told of their son's vagabond ways.
