Father Poisons Wife

A Centreville, Virginia, father is under investigation for possibly poisoning a box of glazed chocolate doughnuts he gave to his children to take to the home of his estranged wife, according to a search warrant in Fairfax County.

A father of four children allegedly killed his wife and 19-year-old daughter with an axe in Jharkhand after they opposed his affair with another woman, police said on Thursday. He then killed himself by consuming poison, they added.

A 35-year-old man committed suicide along with his wife and six-year-old daughter at their Delhi home by taking poison, over a property dispute with his father, the police said on Monday. Their three-year-old son Rishabh survived because he was at a neighbour's house for prayers, and refused to go home with his mother without having prasad.
