Four Shops Gutted

Over four dozen shops were reduced to ashes in a fire that broke out in a furniture market in Sikanderpur area in gurgaon today, an official said. However, no casualty was reported.

A fire broke out in Old Delhi's congested Chandni Chowk area on Sunday in which four shops were gutted, a fire department official said.

Seventy five stalls have been destroyed after a major fire at Kukatpally exhibition grounds in Hyderabad this morning. Four lorries were also gutted in the fire.

Seven people were killed and five others critically injured after a major fire broke out at a cracker factory near Indore today, police said. The factory and four adjacent houses at Multani Nagar in Rau were completely gutted down in the fire before the situation could be brought under control, they said.
