Uttar Pradesh Police is set to become the most tech-savvy force in the country with completion of "geo tagging" of about 12 lakh locations that would help it "timely" locate victims dialling 100 for help.

As emails and SMSes become the order of the day, the Postal Department is going hi-tech by geo-tagging the post offices and has begun monitoring timely clearance of the letter boxes through a mobile app.
