TSMC to Get $4.9 Billion in Subsidies From Japan to Build Second Chip Plant

TSMC will get up to more subsidies from the government of Japan in order to help the chipmaker build a second fabrication plant in Japan. The company will receive 732 billion yen ($4.86 billion) more in subsidies from Japan.
