Girl Beaten For Resisting Rape

A 14-year-old girl was brutally beaten and thrown away in a lonely place in a semi-unconscious state after she resisted rape attempt allegedly by an auto-rickshaw driver in Jharkhand's Dumka district, police said on Sunday.

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly brutally beaten up by four persons after she resisted a gang-rape attempt. The incident was reported from Aman Vihar area, outer Delhi. Police said that they have apprehended a juvenile, while a hunt is on to nab the other accused.
