Two army personnel have been arrested from Etawah for allegedly trying to molest the daughter of a retired judicial officer on board the Magadh Express, police said today.

A school bus conductor allegedly tried to molest a nine-year-old girl here, following which the accused was arrested, while some school staff, who beat up and held captive the student's father when he went to speak to them about the incident, have been booked.

A constable posted in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh, was arrested today for allegedly molesting two minor girls after a video of the incident was widely circulated. The girls -- who are also sisters -- had gone to the police post, nearly 220 km from Lucknow, on May 25 to file a complaint about being molested.

Two villagers were killed when a mob - protesting against an alleged molestation incident following which the minor girl immolated herself - clashed with the police in Uttar Pradesh's Hamirpur district.
