India slipped 21 places to reach 108 on the global gender gap index, behind neighbours China and Bangladesh, the World Economic Forum's (WEF) Global Gender Gap's annual report said. India's latest ranking is 10 notches below its reading in 2006 when the WEF started measuring the gender gap.
