Global Goals Awards

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today received the Goalkeepers Global Goals Award for his government's Swachh Bharat programme. Microsoft founder Bill Gates presented the award to PM Modi at a ceremony on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly meeting in New York City.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be honoured later this month with the prestigious 'Global Goal Award' by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation for his leadership and commitment to the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan.

Priyanka Chopra quoted Mahatma Gandhi's lines which read: "If we are to teach real peace in this world, and if are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children"

"Many will agree that the best awards in the world are People's Choice Awards. So here the people of Rome and Italy have voted after filling five full house shows edge-to-edge. What we started in a little village of Goa has gone global beyond all our goals," said Mr Nalin in a statement
