Now At Hyderabad Airport: IoT-Enabled "Smart Trolleys"

The GMR Hyderabad International Airport today said it is using Internet of Thing (IoT) as a tool to augment its services and operations. As a first step, the facility has introduced the Smart Baggage Trolley Management system, to be tracked and maintained in real time by such a platform.

GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL), which operates Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), today announced SriLankan Airlines, will start its non-stop flight between Hyderabad and Colombo from tomorrow.

Air India pays Rs 415 crore in airport dues to GMR Infra

GMR Infra, which operates the Delhi and Hyderabad airports, has received Rs 415 crore in airport dues from state-run Air India, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. GMR Infra had earlier given an ultimatum to Air India to pay airport charges if it wanted to continue operations.
