Goa Girl Kidnapped

Police on Wednesday rescued two Goa-based girls from Karnataka after they were allegedly lured and kidnapped on the promise of luxurious lifestyle and found locked in a house in the southern state, an official said.

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly kidnapped and raped multiple times in Vasco town of Goa, and police have arrested the driver employed by her family along with three other men in this connection, an official said on Wednesday.

A 38-year-old man was arrested today from Dadar railway station in Central Mumbai for allegedly abducting a 16-year-old girl from Goa, police said.

A 16-year-old-girl was allegedly kidnapped by two persons from near her house in Porvorim locality in Panaji. She was rescued hours later, police said today. The alleged kidnappers had befriended her on social networking website Facebook.

"Please take me home," pleaded the 14-year-old girl, weeping uncontrollably, when Mumbai police officers rescued her from a Goa hotel. The Kandivli girl had been rescued a month after she was kidnapped, and then raped repeatedly by her 24-year-old neighbour.
