At least five persons have lost their lives in wall collapse incidents over two days in Goa which received heavy rains on the third consecutive day on Monday, inundating several low-lying areas.

The southwest monsoon is expected to arrive in Goa on June 6, a senior official from the India Meteorological Department said today.

The onset of cyclone Vayu will bring heavy rains in Goa and the Konkan area for the next two days, the India Meteorological Department said on Tuesday.
