A SpiceJet plane coming from Goa made an emergency landing at Hyderabad airport on Wednesday night after smoke was observed in the cabin and aviation regulator DGCA is probing the incident, according to officials.

A man travelling in an IndiGo flight from Goa to Delhi was allegedly caught smoking in the restroom of the aircraft on Thursday.

A passenger of an IndiGo flight was caught smoking in the aircraft toilet by the cabin crew on Christmas day. A strong odour of cigarette smoke came from the toilet on board IndiGo flight 6E-947, going from Ahmedabad to Goa on December 25, following which the cabin crew questioned the man.

Tejas Express, with top speed of 200kmph, has on board Wi-Fi, infotainment, LED TVs, CCTV, centrally-controlled doors, graffiti-proof body, and fire and smoke detection facilities.
