Goa Voter Turnout

Among the 10 states and two Union Territories that went to polls, only three - Chhattisgarh, Goa, and Karnataka - recorded an increase in turnout compared to 2019.

As much as 78.70 per cent voter turn-out was recorded in elections to 186 village panchayats in Goa on Wednesday, an official said.

2022 Goa Assembly election result, for which voting was held on Feb 14, is being declared today. Goa Assembly polls were held in a single phase and all 40 constituencies voted the same day. The average voter turnout was 80%.

Polling was held today on all the 70 assembly seats in Uttarakhand and 40 constituencies in Goa, besides 55 seats in Uttar Pradesh.

Goa registered 72.04 per cent voting as the two Lok Sabha constituencies in the coastal state went to the polls in the third phase of the general elections on Tuesday.
