A total of 141 villages in 11 states were electrified during the week ended July 17 under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojna, an official said on Monday.

A total of 145 villages in nine states were electrified during the week ended June 26 under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojna, an official statement said today.

As many as 112 villages were electrified across the country last week, taking the total tally to 7,766, the government said today.
