Greece's new cabinet was sworn in on Wednesday, bringing in few new faces as re-elected Prime Minister Alexis Tspiras sought continuity in pushing through economic reforms under the watchful eye of international lenders.

Greece's newly-elected Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras unveiled his new government on Tuesday, giving the crisis-hit country's key finance portfolio to Euclid Tsakalotos and defence to his nationalist coalition ally, the Independent Greeks.

Greece's new conservative-led coalition government on Thursday pledged to try and revise the country's austerity commitments to its creditors, but insisted that would not endanger ties with the rest of Europe or Greek use of the euro currency.
