Shares of telecom tower firm GTL Infrastructure on Wednesday plunged 6.5 per cent after the company's March quarter numbers failed to impress investors.

Telecom tower firm GTL Infrastructure on Tuesday said its standalone net loss narrowed down to Rs 92.75 crore in the March quarter.

The company had reported a net loss of Rs 146.84 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal, GTL Infrastructure said in a BSE filing.

RJIL holds pan-India broadband wireless access (BWA) spectrum and is planning to launch commercial 4G telecom services in 2015.

GTL Infra, together with Chennai Network Infra, has a combined portfolio of more than 27,800 towers spread across 22 telecom circles in India.

Steel pipe maker PSL Ltd is in talks with lenders including State Bank of India and ICICI Bank to restructure its Rs 45 billion debt, a company official told Reuters.
