Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday said that his government was ready to open talks with Gujjars, but condemned the violence and blocking of road and train traffic by protesters in the state.

Patidar quota agitation leader Hardik Patel today said that he will extend his support to the stir by members of the Gujjar community in Rajasthan from May 15 to press for their demand of five per cent reservation from within the OBC quota.
