Aam Aadmi Party legislator Gulab Singh has been arrested by the Delhi Police in an alleged case of extortion. The legislator, who had allegedly taken money from a builder, had surrendered to the local police after which he was placed in the custody of Delhi Police.

Flood-Like Situation in South Rajasthan, Army Joins Rescue Operations

Heavy rainfall has disrupted normal life in south Rajasthan, as areas bordering Gujarat are battling a flood like situation for the past few days. Army helicopters and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams on motorboats have been pressed into service, rescuing more than 50 people so far.
