Multi-Crore 'Tech Support' Scam Busted In Guwahati, Nearly 200 Detained
Police in Assam have unearthed a multi-crore scam and busted eight illegal call centres, which used to scam Indians and people from other countries in the name of offering technical support. Three people have been arrested and 191 have been detained.

52 Lakh Affected As Assam Flood Situation Worsens, 20 Dead So Far
The number of people affected by the Assam floods rose to 52 lakh today, with as many as 1.5 lakh being moved to relief centres amid a red alert issued by the government. The locals found his body today.
