Lokayukta police have searched the premises of a jail official in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior and Morena cities, and seized Rs 12.5 lakh cash and other assets "more than 100 times" his known sources of income, an official said on Sunday.

A Pakistani national, who was caught for spying 15 years back in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior, is being sent back to his country, over a year after he completed his jail term as the coronavirus pandemic delayed the repatriation process earlier.

Bhim Yadav is an accused in 17 murder cases and was being taken to Gwalior jail in a private vehicle when the incident happened.
