Haj Pilgrimage 2019

Union Minister for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Sunday said a record number of two lakh Indian Muslims will go to Haj this year, that too without any subsidy, on more than 500 flights from 21 embarkation points across the country.

Hajj Quota, Haj 2019: With Saudi Arabia increasing India's Haj quota to two lakh, all applicants from big states such as Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Bihar have been cleared for going on the pilgrimage, sources in the Minority Affairs Ministry said.

The applications for the next year's Haj pilgrimage will be accepted online from Thursday and the process will be fully digital, the Haj Committee of India announced Wednesday.
