Hamid Ansari To Visit Kerala

Vice-President Hamid Ansari will arrive in Kerala tomorrow on a three-day visit to attend a series of functions.

Stepping up pressure on the Centre, MPs from Kerala today decided to meet the Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and the Rajya Sabha Chairman Hamid Ansari on Friday with a plea that an all-party delegation be sent to the state to study the "panicky situation" in the area surrounding the Mullaperiyar dam.
