BJP chief JP Nadda has designated a four-member team to look into the incidents of violence in Odisha during this year's Hanuman Jayanti celebrations.

The Odisha Police has arrested 79 people for their alleged involvement in the violence in Sambalpur city during Hanuman Jayanti celebrations, officials said Sunday.

Internet services in Odisha's Sambalpur district have been suspended for 48 hours from 10 am on Thursday in view of violence that broke out during a bike rally organised on April 12 for Hanuman Jayanti.
