Days after a 45-year-old man was beaten to death and a 65-year-old seriously injured by a mob in western Uttar Pradesh's Hapur district, a second video of the incident once again points to the fact that the mob that assaulted the two Muslim men were acting on cow slaughter allegations.

Less than an hour after the families of 45-year-old Qasim, beaten to death by a mob, and Samiyuddin, severely injured, alleged an attempt by the Uttar Pradesh Police to cover up the incident - that took place allegedly over cow slaughter rumours in western's UP's Hapur district - a senior police officer has said there is no question of a cover up.
