Hardik Patel Abduction Claim

In an affidavit filed before the Gujarat High Court today, an aide of Patel quota agitation leader Hardik Patel claimed that he had reasons to believe that Hardik had been abducted on September 22 and that was why he filed a habeas corpus petition.

Challenging Hardik Patel's abduction claims, the Gujarat government today told the High Court that the Patel agitation spearhead's close aides were in constant touch with the young leader when he allegedly went missing last month.

Expressing doubts about his abduction claim, the Gujarat High Court today came down heavily on Patel quota spearhead Hardik Patel and warned him and his lawyer of contempt of court stating that they "misused" the court proceedings.
